Summer Internship Placement Report 2021

Great Lakes Institute of Management emerged as a talent pool of choice for a number of corporates during the Summer Placement process for the PGDM Class of 2020-22. The season witnessed a plethora of reputed corporates like Deloitte India, EY India, Xiaomi, Droom, HDFC, Jaguar Group, MetLife, Right Management, Future Generali, Volvo Eicher, ICICI Bank, IDBI Bank, JSW Steel, NITI Aayog, L&T, Kotak Securities, SMC Global, Sodexo, Mahindra, Cushman & Wakefield to name a few participating in the placement process and offering roles across domains like Analytics, Sales & Marketing, Finance, Strategy and Operations.

Key Highlights

97% students took up offers from 70+ corporates and 3% pursued projects mentored by faculty in a diverse set of areas across Marketing, Finance, Operations, Analytics and Consulting domains
Most profiles were offered in Finance (21%), and Marketing & Market Research (20%), followed by Operations, SCM & Logistics (16%) and Analytics (10%)
BFSI made the most offers (23%), followed by Internet Business (13%), FMCG & FMCD (12%), Analytics, IT/ITES & Advertising (10%), and Manufacturing (10%)
