Summer Internship Placement Report 2020

Great Lakes Institute of Management emerged as a talent pool of choice for a number of corporates during the Summer Placement process for the PGDM Class of 2019-21. The season witnessed a plethora of reputed corporates like Aditya Birla, EY India, KPMG India, ITC, Nestlé, Samsung, Ogilvy & Mather, Future Retail, Future Generali, Blue Star, Ecom Express, MakeMyTrip, Metlife, Coho.in, eAssist Global, IDBI Bank, Jaguar Group, Sodexo, TATA Steel, Virtusa to name a few participating in the placement process and offering roles across domains like Analytics, Sales & Marketing, Finance, Strategy and Operations.

Key Highlights

66% students took up offers from 50+ corporates and 34% are pursuing projects mentored by faculty in a diverse set of areas across Marketing, Finance, Operations, Analytics and Consulting domains.
Most profiles were offered in Sales and Marketing (54%), and Finance (23%), followed by Analytics (13%) and Strategy & Operations (10%)
Internet Business made the most offers (24%), followed by BFSI (18%), Consulting (14%), FMCG (14%), Media & Advertising (11%) and IT/ITES (9%).
Highest stipend of INR 1,20,000 offered for the internship period
