PGDM Internship Report 2024

Great Lakes Institute of Management, Gurgaon, once again was a preferred choice for internship hiring by recruiters for the Summer Internship program of PGDM class of 2023-25. The season saw participation from marquee regular corporates such as KPMG India, Vedanta, Decathlon, Infosys, Gartner, CRISIL, Maersk, and Ashok Leyland to name a few, along with over 30 new corporates including Aditya Birla, Bharti AXA, FCB Group, Hafele, TAFE, Bajaj Finance and Edelman. Roles were offered across domains like Marketing and Sales, Strategy, Consulting, Digital Operations, Finance, Product Management, Analytics and Research, etc.

Key Highlights

  • 30+ new recruiters offered internships to the students across Marketing, Sales, Analytics, Finance, HR, Strategy, etc.
  • Recruiters in the Internet Business industry made the maximum offers (17%), followed by BFSI & Fintech (15%), FMCG, FMCD & Retail (12%) and Advertising, Marketing, Media & Market Research (10%).
  • Highest number of roles were offered in Marketing (24%), followed by Operations & Digital Ops (13%), Analytics & Research (11%), Finance (10%) and Strategy & Consulting (10%)
  • Highest stipend of INR 1.6 Lakhs p.a. was offered for IT/ITES Consulting role
