Great Lakes Institute of Management, Gurgaon, received the prestigious award for "Best Practices for Attracting and Retaining Quality Faculty” at the 10^th Annual Indian Management Conclave, 2019. The award was received by Case Presenter Dr. Poornima Gupta, on behalf of the Institute, and was presented by former President of India and Bharat Ratna Awardee, Shri Pranab Mukherjee. The Conclave was conducted on 2^nd and 3^rd August, 2019, in New Delhi.

The Indian Management Conclave (IMC) is an annual Education Conference and Awards platform organized by MBAUniverse.com. The conclave was hosted by the Convenor Mr. Amit Agnihotri, Founder of MBAUniverse.com and had Shri Pranab Mukherjee & Dr. Shekhar Chaudhuri, Former Director of IIM Calcutta as the chief guests. Delivering the keynote addresses were prominent names from the management education arena, including Mr. Vineet Nayar from Sampark Foundation, Dr. Dipak C. Jain from CEIBS Shanghai, Dr. Anil D. Sahasrabudhe from AICTE and Dr. Tom R. Robinson, President of AACSB International.

As a part of its agenda for the conclave, the IMC presents awards for Excellence in Management Education. It is an initiative to research & recognize the best initiatives from Indian business schools in the area of Management Education. Great Lakes Institute of Management, Gurgaon, was one among the 26 business schools nominated for these awards. The conclave was attended by Deans and Directors of Prestigious Business Schools across the country. In addition to the award, Great Lakes was also the Participant Reading Material Partner for the event, providing the Foreword written by Dr. Bala V. Balachandran, Founder, Chairman of the Board and Dean Emeritus of Great Lakes Institute of Management, and a selection of HBR Articles for the reading material.
