It is estimated that the current 10 million electric vehicles of the world moving on the roads would quickly gallop to 230 million by the year 2030. The demand for batteries which is an important aggregate of an electric vehicle (EV) that comprises 40% of the EV value, would also grow exponentially. The life of an electric vehicle battery is more than 10 years, which is more than the life of the vehicle.
