Dr. Simarjeet Singh is a Ph.D. in Finance [Major-Portfolio Management] from Punjabi University; he holds Masters and Bachelors of Commerce (with distinction) from Panjab University. Dr. Simarjeet has joined the Great Lakes Institute of Management, Gurgaon as an Assistant Professor of Finance (Lecturer Grade). Before joining the Great Lakes, Dr. Simarjeet was an Academic Associate at the Indian School of Business. He also worked as an Assistant Professor with GTB National College as a Jr. and Sr. Research Fellow at Punjabi University.

Dr. Simarjeet Singh has a great interest in research collaboration with leading researchers from across the globe. His research interest includes portfolio management, fintech, financial econometrics, behavioral finance, and blockchain applications in finance. He has published more than 20 in ABDC and Scopus-indexed journals. He has reviewed over 30 research papers.
