Dr. Madhulika Saxena has more than 15 years of experience in academia and the corporate sector. She holds a Ph.D. in English Language Teaching (ELT) from the Indian Institute of Technology, Bombay. She has an M.Phil in ELT, M.A. and B.Ed in English from the English and Foreign Languages University, Hyderabad.

Prior to Great Lakes, she worked as an Assistant Professor in the Communications Department of the School of Business Management, NMIMS Mumbai. N.L. Dalmia Institute of Management and Research (Mumbai), Aditya Institute of Management and Research (Mumbai), and School of Liberal Arts, NMIMS (Mumbai) are a few other institutions where she has taught. She has also contributed immensely to Subhash Academy, a CBSE school in Uttar Pradesh as the Adviser to the Director of the school. She is the visiting faculty at ICFAI Business School, Gurgaon. She is also a member of the admission committee of the School of Business Management and the School of Liberal Arts, NMIMS (Mumbai).

As part of her corporate journey, she headed the learning and development team at IBM India Pvt. Ltd. Hyderabad and provided training solutions at companies like Mindspeed Integrated Solutions and Merritrac Services.

Teaching Areas: Written business communication, oral Communication, written analysis communication, negotiation skills, strategic communication, cultural communication, business etiquette and grooming.

Research Areas: Leadership styles, emojis -GIF and future of communication, textbook analysis, innovative pedagogical aids, graphic novels/comics enhancing reading comprehension, films and learning solutions, NEP, film analysis, psychological analysis, leadership styles etc.
