He was one of those Intellectuals who touched all of us in a number of ways. My association with him was when he took a lot of interest in myself and TCS. He was extremely proud of what we had done and always willing to think about the future and more so in ABC ( Activity Based Costing ) . We gladly implemented in the organisation.

Few thing about him come to my mind.

On cost reduction his sense of humour and a orchestra how it trims is cost is something we can never forget
Every trip to India he would make it a point meet up with me in Mumbai and exchange notes at home or office.

He was extremely proud of the family and kept talking about them whenever we met .

As he founded the Great Lake Institute and invited us to share his vision as well visit the campus including participating in whatever way we could was a way of life for him .

Building young Professionals and helping them to think big is what he enjoyed most till his demise.The last conversation was a request to me to help in inviting Hon. Minister for Education and skills in person or remotely . This I did and hope this fructifies.

Anything said about him is not enough but it is difficult to accept he is no more .Uncle Bala as he was called is no more but his passion willingness to share whatever he learnt or taught was a way of life for him.
