Summer Internship Report PGDM 2022-24

The Great Lakes Institute of Management was once again a preferred choice of talent for recruiters during the Summer Internship process for the Tenth batch of PGDM Class of 2022-24. The season witnessed participation from corporates such as PayPal, Bain Capability Network, HSBC, McKinsey, General Electric, Wells Fargo, JP Morgan Chase, BNY Mellon, Bridgestone, Dell, Ford, HP, ITC, Adobe, CEAT, ISUZU Motors, Arcesium, Tiger Analytics, Gravitas AI to name a few and offering roles across domains like Sales & Marketing, Finance & Banking, Analytics, Strategy Consulting, Product, Digital Technology and Operations.

Key Highlights

  • Summer internship were closed, with 100% of 268 students participated by receiving offers from 64 corporates out of which 46 were New Recruiters who offered a diverse set of profiles across functions and most were offered in Sales & Marketing (49%), Finance & Banking (16%), followed by Analytics (12%), Business & Strategy Consulting (7%), Digital Technology (6%), Product (3%), Operations (3%) and others (4%).
  • Financial Services industry made the most offers (28%), followed by Digital Media (14%), Ed Tech (12%), Technology (11%) Insurance (7%), Consulting (6%), Manufacturing (5%), Product & FMCG (3% each) and others 11% (Aviation, Power, Agriculture, etc.)
  • Highest stipend of INR 4,25,000 offered to the batch has increased overall by 13.25%
  • Average stipend of INR 87,000
