Summer Internship Placement Report 2018

Great Lakes Institute of Management was once again a preferred choice of talent for recruiters during the recently concluded Summer Placement process for the fifth batch of PGDM Class of 2017- 19, the Guptas. The season witnessed a plethora of reputed corporates like Amazon, J P Morgan, Wells Fargo, Nestle, ITC, Dell, GSK, Lottee India, HDFC, Genpact, Bosch to name a few participating in the placement process and offering roles across domains like Analytics, Consulting, Finance, Operations and Sales/Marketing.

Key Highlights

All 105 students participating in the process (14 opted for projects on their own – off campus) received offers from 50+ diverse set of companies across Analytics, Consulting, Finance, Operations and Sales & Marketing domains
Profiles were offered in Marketing (45%), Finance (25%) and Logistics & Supply Chain (18%), Analytics (11%), and HR(1%)
Offers made by BFSI (29%), followed by E-commerce (14%), Manufacturing (14%), and FMCG (11%) respectively.
Highest stipend of INR 1,20,000 and average stipend of INR 54,000 offered for the internship period.
