Sriram R is presently working at Great Lakes Institute of Management. Prior to joining Great Lakes, he worked at the Department of Management Studies in Institutions affiliated to Anna and Bharathiar University, Coimbatore. He is active in his research on Urban Sociology and Technology-enabled Sustainable Urban Development with articles published in Peer and Non-Peer reviewed journals such as South Asian Journal of Management (An AMDISA Journal), Springer, International Journal of Engineering and Management.
Sriram R is currently pursuing his PhD in Sociology from Department of Sociology and Social Works at Annamalai University, Chidambaram, India. He holds a double master in Management (PGDM, International Business) from GITAM University, Visakhapatnam and Sociology (MA) from University of Madras. At Great Lakes, he tutors students in the area of Marketing. He has also taught courses in Economics (Managerial Economics), Strategy and Supply Chain Management in his previous stint as Faculty at affiliate institutes of Anna and Bharathiar University.
Research Interests
His main research interests are in the combined areas of Technology and Social Sciences with respect to Digital Urbanism, Technology Enablement in Urban Development, Social Networking, Sustainability in Technology Enabled Urban Development and Social Change. His minor interests are in the areas of Public Policy relevant to Voting for a Digital Democracy.
