Renu Ramakrishnan is an experienced professional with a background in training, marketing and communications spanning 20 years in India, US and Singapore. Currently a freelance trainer and consultant, Renu specializes in the areas of Communication, Leadership, Organizational and Personal Effectiveness, and Intercultural Competence and Adjustment.
She has conducted sessions at many large corporations such as IBM, PepsiCo, Tata Telecom, Cushman & Wakefield, Whirlpool, Xerox, Cummins, Glenmark Pharma, Coca Cola and the Aditya Birla Group to name a few. She has also been a facilitator at General Electric’s prestigious Crotonville Leadership Program in India, where she led sessions for company executives on communication and presentation skills.
Deriving fulfillment in working with young leaders, Renu has been a visiting facilitator at Lehigh University- USA, the International Summer School New Delhi, and the Hult Prize India for social entrepreneurship. She has also been a mentor at the Young Indian Fellowship at Ashoka University.
Earlier in her career, Renu has spent several years in brand management and advertising in India and the US and has marketed brands such as BeechNut baby food, Hero jams and the Crayola line of children’s products in the United States. She has also she developed multi-media advertising strategies for clients such as Boots Pharmaceuticals, Hindustan Petroleum and Ceat Tyres during her tenure at J Walter Thompson in Mumbai.
Renu holds an MBA in Personnel and Marketing Management from the University of Mumbai, and an MBA from Lehigh University, USA.
