Ravi boasts an extensive 33-year track record in the Information Technology sector, specializing in Enterprise Solutions catering to a diverse range of industries. His primary focus areas include Airlines/Aircraft (16 years), Financial Services (7 years), and Manufacturing/Process/Petroleum/Distribution (10 years).

Notably, Ravi led the Asia Pacific (formerly Europe & Middle East) business of Accelya, a dedicated Airline solutions provider. Prior to this, he held pivotal roles as India Country Manager for Transera, offering cloud-based contact center solutions, and as Sales Director for the Asia Pacific region at Talisma, a renowned CRM solutions provider. With an 8-year tenure at IBM, he excelled as the National Solutions Manager for the Industrial Sector, headed the ERP solutions unit emphasizing "End to End solutions," and led Solutions Marketing for the Production Industry segment. Additionally, he contributed significantly at Digital (DEC) as Business Development Manager for Systems Integration & Services and served as a Project Manager at ADA, spearheading the development of Computer Integrated Manufacturing (CIM) applications for the LCA program.

Ravi possesses extensive international business acumen, particularly in Europe, Middle East, and Asia Pacific regions. His expertise spans Sales Management, Services/Solutions Selling, Product Selling, Industry Marketing, and Alliance/Partner Management. He has successfully managed Global Accounts and harnessed various technologies within industries such as Airlines, Manufacturing, Financial Services, and BPO/ITES. His wide-ranging industry connections include both professionals and clients, particularly within the Airline sectors.

His academic achievements comprise a Bachelor of Technology (B Tech) in Mechanical Engineering from IIT Madras during 1979 to 1984, followed by the completion of a Master of Science (M S) in Mechanical Engineering from Ohio State University, Columbus, Ohio, USA, spanning 1984 to 1986. Additionally, he enriched his knowledge by acting as a Visiting Scientist at Carnegie Mellon University in Pittsburgh, USA, between 1986 and 1987, gaining expertise in expert systems. His educational journey also included serving as a Visiting Engineer at the Warwick Manufacturing Group, University of Warwick, Coventry, UK, from April 1987 to November 1987, which provided him valuable insights into CAD/CAM modeling and Computer Integrated Manufacturing (CIM).
