Prof. VK Murti is a highly experienced professional with a strong background in both academia and the industry. He is the founder of the Centre for Owner Managed Enterprises (COME) and has been associated with S. P. Jain Institute of Management & Research (SPJIMR) as a faculty member. He specializes in various areas such as Managing Existing Customers, Getting New Customers, Key Account Management, Managing Sales Force & Reseller Networks, Negotiation, and Family Business Growth. He is also actively involved as a board member and consultant to family-managed companies.

Prof. VK Murti received training at Harvard Business School and Harvard Law School in 2006, further enhancing his expertise. Prior to his academic career, he has accumulated 24 years of industry experience, particularly in setting up and managing sales and distribution networks for medium and small owner-managed enterprises. He has worked with leading Indian and foreign companies, along with a prominent management consultant.

With a strong passion for Customers, Competition, and Change Management, Prof. VK Murti has made significant contributions to the field of business and management. He holds a B.Com degree from Bombay University and PGDMM and PGDMS from Bharatiya Vidya Bhavan's Rajendra Prasad Institute.
