Gayathri Giri earned her doctoral degree from the College of Engineering Guindy, Anna University, Chennai. Her extensive research portfolio spans across three key areas: Behavioural Finance, Fintech, and Cross-Sectional Studies. Her Ph.D. thesis delves into examining the intricate perceptions of finance professionals regarding the adoption of blockchain technology for green bond issuance process. She has publications in the Journal of Supply Chain Management (ABDC – A) and Applied Economics (ABDC – A).

Currently, she is engaged in crafting research papers targeting A-grade journals in the area of Behavioural Fintech. In addition to that, she has presented the research papers at national and international conferences includes Chicago Booth School of Business, Bucharest University of Economic Studies, IIM, and NIT. She has also written articles for popular media outlets such as Data Quest and ABP Live News Bureau.
