Gaurav Sundararaman holds a PGPM from Great Lakes Institute of Management, Chennai. He has over 9 years of experience in leading cross-functional teams across multiple domains and time zones. Currently, Gaurav is working as the Senior Stats Analyst at ESPN Inc where he provides Analytics Driven Content and insights on various in-game situations on Match Day on the ESPN Cricinfo website. Prior to ESPN Inc, Gaurav was Manager, Analytics at Sports Mechanics. He has also worked in Wipro Eco Energy and Frost & Sullivan (P) Ltd in the past.

Gaurav has been the Key Speaker at India’s first Sports Analytics conference – Sports Analytics World Series, Mumbai – 2017 where he spoke about the Influence of analytics in on-field decision making and broadcasting. He has also been the Key Speaker at the MIT SLOAN Sports Analytics Conference, Boston – 2015 and presented a paper on non-American sports at the world’s premier sports analytics conference.

Gaurav was part of the core management team for an IPL franchise – IPL Auction 2015 and facilitated in player selection and team strategy driven through analytics and value based drafting. He was also a producer of an analytics driven Live Cricket chat show, Dubai- 2015.
