Dr. Priyavrat Sanyal

Priyavrat Sanyal is an accomplished academician and marketing professional with extensive experience in both industry and academia. He currently serves as an Assistant Professor in the Marketing area. He completed his Ph.D. (Fellow Program in Management) from the prestigious Indian Institute of Management, Indore, specializing in Marketing. Before that, he earned his Masters in Marketing Management from Jamnalal Bajaj Institute of Management Studies, Mumbai, and a Bachelor of Engineering in Mechanical Engineering from Dr. B.R. Ambedkar University, Agra.

With over 19 years of industry experience, Priyavrat worked in various roles in Sales, Service, Marketing, and Engineering functions with renowned organizations like Godrej and Boyce Mfg. Co. Ltd and Reliance Industries Ltd.

His teaching and research interests are focused on areas such as Business to Business Marketing, Sales and Distribution Management, Marketing Strategy, and Social Marketing. Priyavrat's dedication and contribution to academia have been recognized through various awards, including the MSME Research Fellow award in 2016 by Ni-MSME, Ministry of Industries, Government of India.

Currently associated with the Indian Institute of Management Visakhapatnam as an Assistant Professor, he has previously served in similar roles at Indian Institute of Management Bodh Gaya and Institute of Management Technology, Ghaziabad. He also held the position of Doctoral Fellow at Indian Institute of Management, Indore.

Throughout his career, Priyavrat has been involved in multiple executive programs and consulting projects for both government and non-government organizations, showcasing his expertise and practical insights.
