Dr. Harkant Mankad

Dr. Harkant Mankad is a distinguished academic and seasoned professional with expertise in Economics, Managerial Economics (Micro), Economic Policy (Macro), Finance, Business Environment, and Strategy.

His educational journey includes a PhD in International Finance from the University of Bombay, India (1972) and post-doctoral course work at the University of Pennsylvania, Philadelphia, USA (1974). Dr. Mankad holds several degrees, including a Master of Commerce in Banking and Finance and a Bachelor of Commerce in Advanced Accountancy, both from the University of Bombay.

With a rich teaching background, Dr. Mankad has held various esteemed positions. He is currently associated with S P Jain School of Global Management in Dubai, Singapore, Mumbai, and Sidney, as well as Great Lakes School of Management in Chennai. He also serves as a Visiting Faculty for Economics at Symbiosis Institute of Management, Bengaluru.

Throughout his career, Dr. Mankad has demonstrated exceptional leadership, serving as Vice Chancellor at NMIMS University, Bombay, and Mody Institute of Technology and Sciences (Deemed University), Rajasthan. He has also held executive roles as Director and CEO in reputable companies, including Technova Group of Companies in Bombay and Fintrust Group of Companies in Dar-es-Salaam, Tanzania, East Africa.

Dr. Mankad's advisory experience includes serving as an Advisor to the Management School Rating Group of CRISIL, Mumbai. He has also held key positions as President of AICAR Business School, Maharashtra, and Dean Emeritus of Russell Square International College in Mumbai.

In addition to his academic and corporate engagements, Dr. Mankad has been involved in guiding Ph.D. students in Management at various institutions. His remarkable contributions to the field of Economics and Management have left a lasting impact on both academia and industry.
