Amar is an economist by training. He holds an MA in Applied Economics from Pondicherry University and BA(Hons) in Economics from the University of Delhi. His research interest lies in the area of Macroeconomics, Monetary Economics, and Financial Economics. He primarily employs methods from Time Series Econometrics and Text Analytics in his research.
