Balaji Subramanian is an Assistant Professor of OBHRM area at Great Lakes Institute of Management. Prior to joining Great Lakes, Balaji was an assistant professor at IIM Visakhapatnam. He holds a PhD from IIM Kozhikode and a MBA (PGDM) from IIM Lucknow. His research interests are in the fields of alternative organizations, workplace democracy and teaching-learning processes. In addition to teaching MBA courses, he has conducted number of executive training programs for both public and private sector organizations. Prior to joining academics, he worked with companies such as Infosys and Virtusa Consulting. He holds a B.E. from Madras Institute of Technology, Anna University.
