Dr. Arti Srivastava is a PhD (Marketing) from Indian Institute of Management Udaipur. Post submission of her PhD she joined Leeds University Business School, University of Leeds, United Kingdom, as a visiting research fellow for the fall term 2021. She served as a visiting faculty at the Institute of Management Technology Nagpur before joining Great Lakes Institute of Management Chennai.
Arti’s research explores stigma in marketing contexts such as adoption of stigmatized well-being products, deviant consumption behavior, employment of stigmatized groups (People with Disabilities) as a sustainable business strategy, and impact of organizational stigma on associated businesses. Her research has been accepted at reputed national and international conferences such as Association for Consumer Research conference (North America) 2020, American Marketing Association winter conference 2020, European Marketing Academy Conference 2021, and Society of Consumer Psychology Annual Conference 2022. Her research has also been selected for the advance track of the prestigious EMAC doctoral colloquium.
She has over five years of academic experience as an assistant professor prior to her PhD at IIM Udaipur. Her teaching interests include Consumer Behavior, Marketing Management, Services Marketing, and Social Marketing.
