PGWPM - Eligibility criteria for applying

1. Should have completed a minimum 10+2+3 years of education with an academic track record of 60% throughout from 10th standard through graduation.
2. Should be currently working.
3. Should have a minimum work experience of at least 24 months. Candidates with 18-24 months work ex will be considered, if found to be exceptionally good. Though the program has no upper limit in terms of work ex, we would typically cap the ceiling at 10 years.
4. All candidates who do not have a valid [<2 years] CAT or GMAT score will have to write the Great Lakes Entrance test GREAT. Even if your score is valid in terms of its year, if it does not meet up with the selection requirements of Great Lakes, you would be advised to give GREAT.
5. Download the application form from the website admissions page, fill it up in all respects, and send the application with all required enclosures to Great Lakes along with payment for INR 1000. The application form will be available as a down load from the 1st of April 2010.
6. Students who meet all admissions criteria and who need to write the written test would be called for the GREAT test. We would have test centers in Chennai and Bangalore
7. The personal interview [for students who got the test waiver + the students who successfully wrote the GREAT test] would again be held in Chennai and Bangalore. The written test and the interview would be held in June 2010. The dates would be updated in the website shortly.
8. Selected candidates would be intimated of the results, with further instructions for payment of fees and completion of any other admissions formalities.
9. Admitted participants to the program would be given the program commencement related details and further directions.
10. For candidates who are directly sponsored by their organizations, the institute would enter into an agreement with the employer.
11. In principle, an agreement with the employer is mandatory for self-sponsored candidates also.
12. Participants once admitted into the program shall abide by the rules, regulations and codes of conduct of the institute. Any deviation shall entail appropriate action which may include expulsion from the program, if found warranted by the institute.
