Applicant Testimonials |
| Hello, We spoke on phone a little while back regarding my admission to the PGWPM program. I would like to thank you for spending time and giving me guidance about the course. I have attached my resume along with this e-mail for your reference. Like I had mentioned on phone, I was working in Infosys and then I left my job to join my father's business (a BPO catering to the financial sector). By July, I would have 3 years of work experience. A degree from Great Lakes is a ‘dream come true’ for any aspiring candidate. I am very much interested in this program as it is extremely ideal for me. I am going to apply immediately as per your advice and hope for good tidings to come by. Hope to see you soon and thank you once again. With warm regards, Aswin |

| Dear Prof Iyer, The PGWPM does sound quite interesting and precisely the kind of program I've been thinking of pursuing. Can you please share details on when this particular program would start? Also I have a GMAT score of 620 (Q: 44, V: 31, AWA: 6) taken recently, would you advise me to take your entrance test to improve my chances? I was really disappointed on not having made it to the GLIM PGPM programme as I was really impressed by the amazing growth story of Great Lake as an institution in such a short space of time and after not having made it, I decided to stall my MBA plans and concentrate on the family business and other ventures and hence the PGWPM is like the best possible thing that could have happened to me! I will definitely be applying and will send my application before the deadline date. Best regards, Kunal |

| Dear Sir, “Great lakes” is a great name for an institution of this calibre. I am one among those whose been watching the institute come up so fast, so well, within a short span of time. To be educated in Chennai with the expertise of the western culture is phenomenal. After my fellowship in the UK, I’ve been working for four years there & the next qualification that I was looking at was an MBA. To do that, I had options of either doing it in India or abroad. Well if it’s abroad that would mean I would have to wind up my practice, my X – Ray centre & my partnership with Vita life and be away from Chennai. Great Lakes gives me this unique opportunity of working in Chennai, and at the same time, be guided by renowned faculty who have been trained from all over the world. At the moment I am running 3 business concerns with great ease. Very soon I am going to be expanding this on a large scale and need the wisdom & the scientific approach to doing this. PGWPM provides me an opportunity to do justice to my medical career and at the same time pursue & hone my management skills with its weekend schedule. Also this kind of a privileged institute not alone brings in a variety of exposure to my unscientific entrepreneurship but also allows me to envision the potential that I am not tapping at this juncture. I would like to become the head or the director of a chain of institutions that not only deal with basic dental treatments but those that also train chair side assistants and dental nurses. In other words branch out within my profession to start teaching institutions and I am looking upon GREAT LAKES to give me this sound academic background. This being my plan & growth in the next 10 years, I believe PGWPM would provide me with the answers to my growth – how the technological and economic impact on my profession would be and what are the ways to overcome this. And last but not the least I do realise medical skills alone are not sufficient to help me with the management that I am plunging myself into. Warm Regards Dr. Sathyabama |
