Dear Working Professional Applicant,
There comes a point in corporate life when all that you know will take you ahead only
this much and no more. The fully confident blue-eyed graduate in you slowly changes
to a slightly perplexed individual, unable to comprehend the nuances around you in
your workplace. This perplexed feel stems from a series of unknown Cs that you are suddenly forced to handle - these Cs were never taught to you in any graduate
classrooms.
From your day-one in office, you are exposed to Cost Management. Every activity of yours is associated with a cost – an
unnerving feeling. The moment you start working in a team, there is an element of Conflict Management. Leadership
emerges by effectively managing conflict. For decision making, you deal with Consensus Management. All production
decisions are dictated by Capacity Management. Discussions with your finance department will have the underpinnings
of Cash flow Management. What you need now - to take your career to the next trajectory - is a rigorous grooming on
new skill sets.
The prescription then is to come back to class rooms.
Great Lakes is proud to launch its highly successful PGWPM program to the student community of New Delhi and NCR.
PGWPM was launched in Chennai campus in 2010 and is into its successful second year. The course is spread over 52
alternate weekends, thus making the program a two year academic journey.
I welcome you all to come to Great Lakes to be a part of this fruitful journey.
