Great Lakes’ rigorous selection process for the PGPM has ensured that the top 3-4 percentile of India’s talent join the program. Great Lakes admits students with a minimum two-year work experience, and a good GMAT or CAT score, apart from other assessments. The class of 2012, comprising of 298 "Spartans", has an average work experience of 42 months and has a median GMAT score of 670 and median CAT percentile of 94.6. The Spartans’ overall profile is also rich and diverse. The batch has 28% women, and 36% of the batch has experience with non-IT sector companies. Spartans hail from all parts of India, with North zone accounting for the maximum representation (33%), followed by South (31%), West (22%) and East (14%) zones of India.
