Eligibility Criteria Admissions PGPM 2009
- All applicants are required to appear for GMAT/CAT before applying to Great Lakes Institute of Management.
- For PGPM 2009, Great Lakes Institute of Management will accept CAT score for the year 2007 and 2008 only. Similarly candidate can submit GMAT score not older than 2006.
- All applicants should have at least a bachelor’s degree in any discipline from a recognized institution.
- Full time work experience of minimum two years is highly desirable.
- Outstanding graduates with less than two years of experience would be considered on a case to case basis.
Evaluation Process
Applicants for admission are evaluated based on GMAT/CAT (2007 & 2008) score, past academic performance, essays and letters of recommendation, and performance in the interview and group discussion.
Letters of recommendation are required to be submitted online along with the application. Professional recommendation for candidates with substantial work experience is preferred.
About the program:
Great Lakes’ PGPM is a one year full time fully residential programme targeted at people with work experience. The class of 2009-2010 will have 260 members housed in a sprawling, eco friendly campus on the scenic East Coast Road near Chennai. The full cost of the program is Rs.10,22,000 for Indian nationals and U$D 32,000 for International Students (Non Indian Passport Holders). - Visit the nearest IMS centre
- Make the payment (Rs 1100) and obtain the admission packet. The brochure placed inside the packet will contain a unique 6 digit registration key.
- Use this unique key to register on the admission page
- Fill out the application form and submit it online.
Option 2: Online application:
Alternately, you can make a credit card payment (Rs 1100) online and fill out the application form and submit it online
NOTE: In both the cases, even the recommendation letters will be submitted online. There will be no hard copy in any admission related processing.
Recommendation letters:
- Enter the details of your recommender on the online application form.
- An email will be sent to the recommender soliciting his/her assessment of the candidate
- The email id of the recommender must be the official email id.
