Consulting History
- Consulted extensively with the Government of Tamilnadu in the following areas
- Member of the 'Tamilnadu Growth Initiative - 2006' set up by the Finance Dept., Government of Tamilnadu
- Consultant for the Tamilnadu State Planning Commission on the review of the HDI for the State
- Consultant for the First State Finance Commission to recommend ways and means of revamping and augmenting the tax and non-tax revenues of Urban Local Bodies in Tamilnadu
- Worked on projects funded by Steel Ministry on 'Forecasting Steel Demand' and on a project on 'Price Controls in India' jointly funded by ICSSR, RBI and the Finance Ministry (Delhi) while at the Indian Statistical Institute (New Delhi)
- Consulted for private sector including some major corporates and the Confederation of Indian Industry, Southern Region.
